Yoga classes at SafeSkills® Movement Arts blend the best of ancient wisdom with a modern sensibility. Safely learn techniques for breathing, alignment, and increasing flexibility. Restorative as well as strength-building postures are explored. With steady practice, anyone can achieve vitality. Yoga is a powerful way to explore your body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga Basics

Yoga is fun! But not if you don’t know what you are doing. SafeSkills® Yoga Basics is a great place for the average person to start! This class will break postures down through careful explanation of the fundamentals. You will focus on working through a series of body poses (asanas) performed either sitting, standing, or lying down, with concentration on posture and breathing. Students receive helpful feedback, positive reinforcement, and gentle corrections to improve their flexibility, strength, and body alignment.

Taught by Beth Seigler, co-founder of SafeSkills® Movement Arts Center. A yoga practitioneer for 16 years, Beth has over 25 years experience teaching body alignment and movement as an instructor with SafeSkills®.
